March Madness Against Blindness is inspired by my son, Brendan, who won his battle with eye cancer at the young age of 9 months. Ever since then, I've looked to find ways to support research aimed at preventing and treating blinding conditions.

March Madness Against Blindness is an annual event held at Damon's Grill in Ann Arbor, during the first round of the NCAA Basketball Tournament. On those days, Myron Hepner pledges to watch all 32 basketball games of the first round!

In exchange for the contribution of his time and efforts, donations are requested in support of research programs at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center so other people who struggle with vision problems might also have a chance to enjoy watching sporting events!

  

HOW TO DONATE

ONLINE - Go to the Making Donations page to make a donation on-line. Get Prizes for your donation too!

Donate $75 or more to enter into drawings to win the autographed balls!!!

Donate $50 or more to receive an MMAB shirt!!!

DINE TO DONATE - Go to Damon's during March Madness Against Blindness to have 20% of your check donated to the event!
NOTE: You must bring a copy of the special coupon with you to Damon's to take advantage of this program. CLICK HERE for a .pdf format of the coupon.

PAPER BASKETBALLS - Go to Damon's any time in March and purchase a paper basketball, put your name on it, and have it proudly posted in their bar and reception area!
Paper basketballs are available in gold ($10), silver ($5), and blue ($1).

All donations of $75 or more will automatically be entered into drawings to win the autographed balls.

(Drawings for the balls will be held at 5:00 at Damon's on Friday of MMAB. You do not need to be present to win but you must make the donation prior to the drawing)

T-SHIRTS - All donations of $50 or more will receive an official March Madness Against Blindness t-shirt!
